Obama's bearded cheerleader, a huge hypocrite
The MSM loves to parrot the idiotic statements allegedly made by Cuba's coma andante. The latest such statement is about the "profound racism" in the United States and how it will "stop millions from voting for Barack Obama in next month's presidential election."
To add to the idiocy castr says that millions of whites "cannot reconcile themselves to the idea that a black person ... could occupy the White House, which is called just that: white."
Well let's see, Blacks in America make up less 15% of the population. Obama who would be considered Mulatto in Cuba is one step away from the presidency. Meanwhile in Cuba some estimates conclude that 2/3 of the population are Black or Mulatto. Yet not a single one of them has sniffed the corridors of power in that country in almost 50 years. For almost half a century Cuban political power has been enshrined in one man, a white man.
If Barack Obama really gave a crap about Cuba he'd denounce the endorsements he's been racking up from Havana in no uncertain terms. But as in the incident with the Che Guevara flag in Maria Isabel's Obama campaign office he's highly unlikely to do that because he needs the votes of the Marxists that quote Mao, Stalin and castro himself on his own web site.

Henry, people who quote Castro, Stalin, or Marx don't necessarily support all components of those people's philosophies. For instance, in this youtube clip you can watch McCain quote Chairman Mao http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYJ15vbo15w. Chairman Mao is considered to be the most murderous man in all of history having killed at minimum 49 million people. Do you think McCain is a supporter of Mao's genocide? I didn't think so. So stop being such a sophist and claiming that Obama's supporters are somehow Marxists because they quote Marx. Quoting people is not the same as supporting them or their ideologies. Castro, Hitler, and Stalin have said many wise things, they just happen to be very evil people. That doesn't make them incapable of insightful or knowledgeable speech, however. If Hitler says that 2+2=4, it still does.

They are not considered being Marxist because they quote Marx but because they preach taking money from those who earned it and giving it to those who didn't. That is Marxism! Perhaps you could see the difference between someone saying, "As che says, 'When it rains, it pours" and someone saying, "As che says, 'We must get rid of the concept of the individule in our society"

Dveg, you're an idiot an I've already discredited this argument. John McCain is clearly making a joke. The people laughing might be a clue a to that. Meanwhile the fuckheads that quote Mao and others Obama's site are posting those quotes as inspiration.

Henry the joke is the content of Mao's words, not that he's quoting Mao. He's suggesting that things are always the worst before they look up, that's what the quote means, and that's why it's funny because he's being really optimistic and suggesting things are about to turn around for him. In point of fact, he is using that quote as inspiration! It's an inspirational quote! And it has nothing to do with Mao's genocides, much like the vast majority [all of the ones I looked at] of Obama's supporter's quotes have nothing to do with
Marxism, supporting Stalin, or supporting Castro.
You can quote a fuckhead and not support his fuckheadedness, to speak in your language.
Just a random sample done now.
Castro's quote has to do with being a soldier of ideas.
Trotsky's has to do with finding a great idea to rise above personal misery and weakness.
Marx is saying that religion is the opium of the masses. [probably the most "Marxist" of the quotes here. Nonetheless, the same person who has that on his page quotes Nader saying "There can be no daily democracy without daily citizenship" -- Ralph Nader" Hardly a Marxist sentiment.]
And Frida Kahla saying she's happy as long as she can paint.
Stalin's has to do with staking vengeance and is ambiguous enough that it can apply to anything. The quote has since been changed to "It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses." -Elwood. So take that for what it's worth.
Content and context, Henry. Looks like the kind of people who support Obama are regular Americans. That's why he's going to win :) Have a nice day. And try to prove this idiot wrong instead of just calling me names!

Dveg,
As usual, and like a true leftist liberal you stir the shit with your verbal spoon, hoping to, at least have the last word, whether your argument be valid or not.
McCain's use of the Mao quote is precisely and solely meant as a joke. There are a Myriad of other quotes from other notables that tell the same "things are always bad before they get better." I believe this type of statement is called an "truism."
The people quoting the others like Stalin and castro etal, actually BELIEVE what those morons expouse and their preachings.
I too, am a regular American and I agree with my fellow regular American Henry: Fuck off.
