Socialism works. Really. it does, it does.

Ladies and gentlemen, I bring you the future.

But I thought most exiles supported the socialist McCain over the socialist Obama. Oh that's right! Exiles don't think of themselves as collectivists as long as the collectivist rewards and punishments suit their needs. In fact, most exiles seem to be against many aspect of the U.S. Constitution and favor one form or another of a collectivist scheme like Social Security. As soon as the collectivist exiles hear this they will immediately scream that they are in favor of privatizing Social Security not realizing this still places them solidly in the collectivist camp. Individualist believers in the U.S. Constitution and the real American way would never agree to the illegal Social Security Ponsi scheme nor being forced to do anything privately with what is their own property - the fruits of their labor.

By now many exiles who read this will be hopping mad for me saying that they are collectivist even though it is true. If you agree to group rights in any form you ARE a collectivist even though you do not realize it. Believing the world is not round will not make the earth flat.

Tomas, I agree with you. But your candidate did not win the nomination. And while Ron Paul has been 100% correct on fiscal issues (despite his hypocritical stance on earmarks), his foreign policy is like Jimmy Carter's and Obama's. So, it's a wash. No vote for him. Once again, the voters are faced with one choice who is truly awful (and ultimately dangerous) and one who is less awful. Are we really going to throw away our vote on a third-party candidate (as I've done on the past) when the nation is at stake? I'll stick to McCain/Palin until America produces another Reagan. We do have a choice in this election. It's clear as a bell.
