"When I say Obama, you say Ayers!". I thought that was a funny line!

While browsing at a book store this weekend, I saw some book by (written for) Baldwin. I can't imagine who would be stupid enough to spend money on such a thing, and I didn't even touch it, but of course it had his picture on the cover (suitably, uh, enhanced). If the guy looked any more like a raging prick, he'd have to be quarantined to his house for the sake of the public welfare.

By the way, I didn't watch SNL (I never do) but I find it very unfortunate, to say the least, that any supposedly serious political figure would stoop to this sort of nonsense. I always remember Clinton playing saxophone on the Arsenio hall show, and it still makes me want to puke in disgust.

This reminds me of watching presidential candidate Richard Nixon in 1968 appearing on Rowan and Martin's "Laugh In" TV program, wearing a mod tie, and saying "Sock it to me?"

Tony, I remember seeing Nixon on Laugh In. Man, are we old or what?
