President Obama and the embargo

A couple of articles have come out in the last couple of days speculating that the U.S. embargo on Cuba might be history if Obama gets elected. That's interesting because Obama claims (now) that he won't lift the embargo. His policies he said will be guided by whether or not they bring "libertad" to the island. Of course that's a different position than the one he held before he was a candidate for president but it seems that nobody in America cares that he's been both sides of this and many other issues. How will Obama really rule? Nobody knows and anyone that says they know is a liar.

I just wanted to make sure that everyone understands that Obama's official position today is that the embargo should remain and the only changes he'll make is with regards to the family travel and remittance restrictions for Cuban-Americans.

We'll be here chronicling the reality.
