I don't call it socialistic, I call it communism.

Adding to my points in an earlier post about newspeak:
"I want you all to get rich" means I want you all to get rich so I can have more people I can tax money away from. It also means this ain't gonna happen on my watch because as soon as you approach getting there, I'll take it away from you.

"I love rich people" means the same as above.

"I don't know when John McCain and Sarah Palin wanted to make a virtue out of selfishness" means - oh, hell, I'm going to be here all day on this one.
I actually had an Obama supporter brag to me that if he made $200,000. a year he'd be glad to give $50,000. away. When I said that was because he didn't make that much, he got very angry and shouted at me that that is not why he was saying that.
I didn't bother to waste my energy answering him. But the answers are so obvious and are threefold.
1. If you made that much, with Obama and company running things, you'd be lucky to get away with keeping three fourths of your money. Think, rather that you will be giving away at least $100,000. more likely.
2. If you are so delighted to give your money away, why give it to Obama or the government? Why not give it to a homeless man or the arts or a disease research foundation or a as scholarship to a needy person? Why let the government decide your priorities for you?
and 3. I have a better idea. Keep as much of your money that you worked hard to earn as possible and spend and save it as you decide. Otherwise, where do you expect to get that $200,00. job from?
If you tax the wealthy and the corporations, you destroy jobs, you raise prices, you destroy the stock market, and you have inflation which erodes what little you do have.

I have friends who are crying that their stocks are going down dramatically. So their solution? To elect more liberals and the most high taxing liberal in our history. (That ought to help them out. Because we all know this is all Bush's fault.)
So is it selfish for them to worry about their money?
I make a virtue of selfishness, Senator Obama. Because I have saved all of my life and been careful, no one has to support me. I love my money. It allows me to be generous to my kids if I feel like it. It allows me to give vast sums to charity, the ones I wish to support. I am selfish and very proud of it.

Anyway, no one is paying attention. So what can we do?

Mr. "I want to help the middle class" has no scruples about the death of the middle class in countries like Cuba and Venezuela. The new OAS will be this triumverate, plus any redistributionist who wants to go along for the ride, if Obama gets his way.

Okay, I'm ranting. He makes me crazy, but those voting for him make me truly insane.

Is Obama a moron or does he think we are morons? Obama, sharing your own toys is not socialistic when you do it yourself willingly! I call that charity. But when the government comes and takes away your toys forcefully to give it to someone else out of "fairness" and "equality" then I call that socialistic.

The only sandwish this guy shared in 6th grade in Indonesia was a shit sandwish...

Stanley Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro (November 29, 1942 - November 7, 1995), known as Ann Dunham and Stanley Ann Dunham [pictured] , was an American anthropologist, left-wing social activist, and the mother of Senator Barack Obama.

She was born in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, to Stanley and Madelyn Dunham. Her father (who gave his only child his name) was a furniture salesman in downtown Seattle, Washington, and her mother worked for a bank. After a year living in Seattle, her family moved to Mercer Island, Washington, in 1956 so that 13-year old Ann could attend the Mercer Island High School that had just opened. At the school she was on the debate team and graduated in 1960.

Her family moved to Hawaii and Ann attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she studied anthropology. When Ann Dunham arrived in Hawaii, she was a full fledged radical leftist and practitioner of “critical theory”.

She also began to engage in miscegenation (inter-racial relaionships) as part of her attack on society. Susan Blake, one of her friends has stated she never dated “the crew-cut white boys,” She had a world view, even as a young girl. It was embracing the different, rather than that ethnocentric thing of shunning the different. That was where her mind took her. In Hawaii she met Barack Obama, Sr. from Kenya in her Russian language class.

Barack Obama, Jr. was born August 4, 1961. Barack Obama, Sr. left Ann and their son in 1963 to attend Harvard in Boston. Press reports claim Ann Dunham and Barack Obama Sr. were divorced around this time; however, no evidence has yet been presented to show they were ever married. The senior Obama obtained a masters degree in economics at Harvard and returned to Kenya in 1965 where he obtained a position in the Kenyan government. He was killed in an automobile accident in 1982.

Two years later, when her son was five, Dunham married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian oil manager and practicing Muslim whom she meet at the university. In 1967 they moved to Jakarta, Indonesia. While in Indonesia Ann got a job at the American embassy teaching English. Barack’s half-sister, Maya Soetoro was born in Indonesia.

Ann, Obama and his sister Maya moved back to Hawaii. Ann Dunham soon returned to Indonesia with Maya but divorced Soetoro in the late 1970s. Dunham traveled around the world, pursuing a career in rural development that took her to her Ghana, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Nepal and Bangladesh.

In 1986 Ann Dunham worked on a developmental project in Pakistan. Later that year Ann and her daughter traveled the Silk Road in China. In 1992 she earned a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Hawaii. Her dissertation, “Peasant blacksmithing in Indonesia: Surviving and Thriving Against All Odds,” was 1067 pages long. She worked for the Ford Foundation and promoted Microlending.

During Obama’s campaign for the 2008 presidential election he portrayed his mother as a conservative girl from Kansas; however in reality she was a radical leftist and cultural Marxist. She lived in the Seattle area; spending her teenage years in Seattle’s coffee shops with other young radical leftists. Obama claims his mother’s family were conservative Methodists or Baptists from Kansas. However his mother’s parents were members of a left-wing Unitarian church near Seattle. The church located in Bellevue, Washington was knick named “the little red church,” because of it’s communist leanings.

The school Ann attended, Mercer Island High School, was a hotbed of pro-Marxist radical teachers. John Stenhouse, board member, told the House Un-American Activities Subcommittee that he had been a member of the Communist Party USA and this school has a number of Marxists on it’s staff. Two teachers at this school, Val Foubert and Jim Wichterman, both Frankfurt School style Marxists, taught a critical theory curriculum to students which included: rejection of societal norms, attacks on Christianity, the traditional family, and assigned readings by Karl Marx. The hallway between Foubert’s and Wichterman classrooms was sometimes called “anarchy ally.”

Dunham has been described by her friends as “a fellow traveler…” meaning a communist sympathizer.

In an interview, Barack Obama referred to his mother as “the dominant figure in my formative years… The values she taught me continue to be my touchstone when it comes to how I go about the world of politics.” Before she died Ann Dunham wanted to adopt a mixed-race Korean baby fathered by a Black American stationed in South Korea. Ann Dunham died in Hawaii in 1995 of ovarian cancer and uterine cancer.

Apparently the Governor of Hawaii has sealed Obama's birth certificate records. Why? Why seal the records? What is Obama afraid of?

Atlas reader Rudy emailed both the University of Washington and the University of Hawaii, and they sent him back dates of enrollment. It didn't match the dates Wikipedia had for Stanley Ann Dunham. Bob tried to update Wikipedia and his updates got deleted within minutes. The big question is how was Ann having Barack in Honolulu in Aug 1961 AND enrolled at the U of Washington the same month?

I'm concerned with the unlikely dates:

Sept 26 1960 First day at U of Hawaii for Ann (Why did she start 6 weeks late?)

One month later - conception

Two months later - drops out of University of Hawaii

Three months later - married

10 months later - back in Washington attending classes at University of Washington

These are implausible dates, and may imply that Ann got pregnant in Seattle and THAT is why her family moved to Hawaii. University of Washington records place Stanley Ann Dunham in Washington State in Aug 1961 so how could she be in Honolulu 2680 miles away birthing Barack the same month.

As graduation neared for the class of 1960, Stanley “Ann” Dunham (Barack’s mother) had hoped to join many of her classmates at the University of Washington. She was also accepted to the University of Chicago, according to Obama's memoir, the best-selling "Dreams from My Father.", but she popped up instead at the University of Hawaii nearly 6 weeks after the start of the 1960 Fall semester. In a highly unlikely scenario, she then conceived Barack Hussein Obama Jr. only one month after she started classes Sept 26th 1960. Then, while only two months pregnant in early January 1961, Stanley “Ann” Dunham drops out of college. She then supposedly married Briarack Obama Sr. three months after conception and only four months after arriving in Hawaii. And only 10 months after first arriving in Hawaii, she is back at the University of Washington, 2680 miles away. (See email from U of Washington below). Contrary to a massive disinformation scheme by the Obama campaign and the news media, Stanley Ann Dunham did not return to the U of Hawaii until Barack Obama Sr. left the island.
