A journalist's job

According to Chris "tingling feeling down my leg" Matthews, it is a journalist's job to help the president be successful.

As Matthews has made obvious however, this does not apply to all presidents, just Obama.

Sometimes you wonder if these people actually listen to the words that come out of their mouths.

Isn't there some kind of law against this?

Posted by: readytoshoot [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 7, 2008 10:47 AM

There is no law, Readytoshoot, against the press kissing up to the government. The only law I know of applies to the government paying off or threatening the press. It is perfectly legal the other way around.

They are, however, subject to the law of economics, and at the rate their going they will soon be bankrupt.

Chris Matthews can kiss my black beans and white rice Cuban butt!

This guy, and others like him, know what they're saying. They know they're partisan, biased hypocrites but (surprise!) they don't care. They definitely don't care now, when they feel even more untouchable than usual. They're on the winning bandwagon, and they feel totally secure and free to be themselves. That's the thing about being corrupt, it only gets worse, not better.

This guy matthews just needs to get a room with the great one and get this tinglinh feeling crap out of his mind. Is this dude married? How does he explain this tingling feeling down his leg to his old lady?

From the files of "It Could Happen" ... I'd make a moderate wager that Matthews is hoping for an Obama White House Press Sec. tap ...

'Professional' dow not come to mind with Matthews.

This was mentioned last on Bill O'Reilly. He also showed a video of Chevy Chase mentioning how he used the platform on SNL to bring down Gerald Ford and elect Jimmy Carter. He also said he was pretty sure the same thing was being used now. I can't see the link at work, but I'm sure this is it based on the title...

Some sympathy for this guy is in order now.
For eight years he has been trying to convince the American public that the Bush administration represents a failed presidency. Okay, Bush has low ratings. Good for Matthews. But in the meantime, no one has been able to stop Bush's policies from taking hold. Iraq invasion passed by congress. The surge, funding of troops, Dept. of Homeland Security, listening in on certain phone calls, keeping Guantanamo open, keeping the Cuban embargo in place, tax cuts, you name it, no one stops Bush. Bush's wishes were congress's can do's. Imagine how frustrating this is for Matthews. All this from an obvious doofus or tyrant depending on which definition is needed that day. What is a pundit to do when he is so irrelevant? This failed president has manged to hoodwink Americans for eight years. This time Matthews will be with a heaven sent president. He will do all he can to help him. That's his job, his joy and his purpose.
But then, when the great one lets him down, as he must and often, we will really have to summon up big pity for Matthews. Let's try to remember that when the time comes.

We need to hurt them where it hurts the most... in their ratings.

Yikes! You mean lower than they (MSNBC) already are?

They've gone so far down the drain after the MSNBC ratings flush that he and Olbermess ain't gonna make it out of the sewage plant. LOL!

BTW, anyone else note he became a little squirmy as the interview went on?

"I don't question motive, Joe."

WTF was THAT? WTF did this dolt and Olbermess do for the last eight years?

As a former 'journalist', and a current "new media" one, I cringe when I hear him consider himself one ...

The fake 'journalists' on Comedy Central and SNL have more credibility than this s**thead does.

Dream on, Chrissy-poo.

These people are unprincipled bastards. Like Asombra stated, they know exactly what they're doing, but have no shame in doing it. It's worthless shits like this that have been eating away at the American psyche for at least 4 years (since the Iraq war) and really, for the 8 years of the Bush Presidency. Information is power, and these scumbags know and it and have exploited an ignorant, lazy, whinny population to finally get one of their own into the White House. Ratings or no ratings, the public turns to TV and print for news and that environment is controlled by the liberal/left. Until we break that totalitarian hold on info, to include our schools, the moderate, conservative message will struggle to survive, even though most Americans believe in it. No wonder they want the 'Fairness Doctrine', because it destroys the only area where the rational, decent, common sense message is being articulated. Lets see..mmm...why don't we apply the 'Fairness Doctrine' to TV, Newspapers, Hollywood, and schools? Lets see how the liberal/left reacts to that....mother-f......!!
