New White House counsel announced
The first slap in the face of many more to come:
Gregory B. Craig, a well-known Washington lawyer who quarterbacked President Bill Clinton’s impeachment defense, has been chosen White House counsel by President-elect Barack Obama, according to Democratic officials.[...]
Among Craig’s other high-profile cases: successfully representing Elian Gonzalez' father, a Cuban, in his efforts to regain custody of his son; and representing U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan in connection during the Volcker Commission's investigation of the Oil-for-Food Program at the United Nations.
[...]
"For five years (1984-1988), he served as Senator Edward Kennedy's Senior Advisor on Defense, Foreign Policy and National Security issues."
That's one hell of a resume...

Really George,
Are you surprised?
Brace for a very bumpy ride for the next four years because Obama and his cabinet will cause America lots of grief.
The American people will learn during the next four years how dumb, naïve and stupid decision they made by voting this Marxist-Anti-American bullshit artist into office.
Start stocking-up on the Imodium and the Pepto-Bismol before starts running out due to high demand because this Obama administration is going to be an ugly mess.
La cagazon va a ser grande.

Craig is a man without principle...he has a black hole for a soul. A pox on America that it must find a cure. I wish him nothing but the very worst in this world and the next. Cigar Mike is spot on...AG pick is probably Holder. This is getting ugly.

#1 Paco -
"Gotti Attorney" Jeff Lichtman - sometimes heard on New York's WABC Radio, AM 770, voted for McCain on National Security issues. Guess that disqualified him. -S-

This is the "change" that America voted for. Obama is doing nothing more than recycling the same people from previous administrations. Boy, have clueless Americans been suckered!
By the way, we Cuban Americans have been very unsuccessful in getting our point across. Can you imagine any administration nominating Craig if he were as toxic to another group as he is to Cuban Americans?
What if Craig had been involved in a controversial litigation that had challenged the current cause-of-the-day for liberals: rights for illegal aliens [opps, I mean "Undocumented Americans] or if he has challenged gay marriage? Believe, you me, he would never have been considered for any position in government. But, since it's Cuban Americans who are being insulted with this nomination, that's not a problem!
Wait for many more things to come. I'm waiting for the presidential visit to Cuba and all of the fanfare and hoopla that will follow that visit. Katie Couric reporting the historic visit from Cuba, etc...
We are indeed in for a long bumpy ride!

I agree Ray, is going to be ugly so we must prepare ourselves for it.
I just want to see which will be the specific move or blunder by the "Messiah" that will finally open the American people's eyes and will start their turn to the right.
In the meantime we must wait for events to unfold.

Surely Craig can be the one to arrrange for the messiah's meeting with castro without preconditions.

Where is the "change" Obama promised? His administration is shaping up to look like the third Bill Clinton term.

Did you notice a response to Nuevo Herald article on Chavez which is signed by Huber Matos

"A Chávez le está llegando la hora de la rendición de cuentas, vamos a ver hasta cuándo puede seguir manteniendo con el petróleo venezolano a la dictadura fideliana. "

Scum bucket preppy pretty boy Gregory B. Craig is the lowest of the low - an ambulance chaser for assholes like the Clintons and tyrants like Fidel. This man is a Clinton stooge and an agent for the Castro dictatorship - he has done other terrible things relating to Cuba other than the Elian affair. If our Cuban American law makers had any backbone they would raise hell at the appointment of this goon with a law degree.
Another one of this ilk is Gary Hart who has also acted as an in formal ambassador to the Clinton's with making relations with Cuba.
Be ready for Craig to do lots of Cuba appeasement for the "One".

Craig is one of the slimiest and most ruthless character to ever so-called practice law.
I agree, it's Clinton's 3rd term without the bimbo eruptions -- well, not yet.

truth be told a second Clinton presidency is the best we can hope for...Obama doing whatever he wants would be worst. Clinton was a scum bag but no socialist - need I remind everyone of how much of a commie Obama's instincts are?

Clinton and Obama through their oratory, share the clear trait of "wanting to be everything to everyone".
However,Clinton mainly ruled base on polls results and plebiscites. Although he was clearly loved by the MSM, we did not see the blatant bias we have witnessed with "The One". Therein lies the danger of the Obama administration in advancing their agenda with virtually no check & balance. I'm afraid the MSM will gladly continue to serve as Obama's P.R operatives.
We must also remember that Hillary Clinton and Obama seem to share admiration for the radical community organizer, Paul Alinsky. Both of their social activism techniques have been directly influenced by Alinsky.
Another point of concern for me is the incredible influence that Soros has on many who are part of Obama's entourage ... starting with John Podesta.
I wish you well :) Melek

A liberal wants to try a different approach, a leftist wants to replace the system.
A liberal believes in fair play and honest disagreement, a leftist believes in hiding the truth and crushing dissent.
A liberal believes you may have a point, a leftist believes there are no points other than his.
A liberal says this country is great, but can be greater through dialogue. A leftist believes some other country is great and this country makes him puke.
A liberal wants equality for all persons regardless of gender, color or creed, a leftist wants class and racial warfare.
A liberal wants to take the poor and give them a chance to be rich, a leftist wants to take the rich and make them poor." ~ cfbleachers
