Riddle me this...

Why is it that the states with the highest tax rates are the ones with the biggest fiscal problems?

The reason is pretty simple I think. The states with the highest taxes are also the states with the largest amounts of handouts such as welfare and medicaid. The real scary part is that some of these benefits bieng paid are not even for citizens. Take Californaia for example, even with the high taxes they can't cover the cost that Illegal Aliens put on thier system...If Cali actually enforced a law where they wouldn't support illegals I'm sure they would save a ton of cash...Stop Welfare programs! I remember when one would actually be embarrassed for collecting welfare, WTF happend.
