Objective: 2010 - Winning the future
Back on November 6th I stated that as conservatives we needed to redouble our efforts. That we could not afford to wallow in defeat. That we needed to start planning our next steps for victory. I also said that we didn't need to wait until 2012.
I urged you all to support Saxby Chambliss in his run-off in for Georgia's Senate seat. Well tonight I'm proud to report that Chambliss won. It's a small victory, but one that can be a harbinger of things to come.
I'm firmly committed to the goal of recapturing the House of Representatives and increasing the number of GOP Senators in 2010. I believe it can happen for a variety of reasons that I'm not going to get into now, but it was done before so we know it can happen again.
Remember, conservatism is not dead, but the failed strategies of the liberal wing of our party are.
Don't get mad, get even. And if you can, get the majority.

it's actually a huge, not a small victory.
A loss in GA would have given the Dems enough votes to prevent a filibuster.
It's also a major loss for Obama and the Dems -

The winning strategy is simple: NO RINOs. The NORINO movement.

And the winning strategy can be achieved by supporting the Club for Growth. They raised lots of money from members in very little time to help Chambliss. They are opposed to Rinos.

I'm glad that all the:
"make arrangement for husband to pick up daughter from busstop - leave the office - skip the gym - drive north - get stuck in school car riders traffic - go vote - drive 25 miles south - pick up my mom - take her to her polling place - go home with my mom and all - wait for husband to come back from voting so he can babysit son - go to dinner activity with my mom - suffer through all campaign ads on TV all along -
wasn't wasted effort. I'm very happy that Saxby won!

The positive sign is that he won by a very Wide margin. Now, what was the key? Energizing and getting the vote out? or, being aggressive in getting out the message, which I think is the key component of any winning strategy.
