I guess the bloom is off the rose

Won't get fooled again?

Liberals are growing increasingly nervous – and some just flat-out angry – that President-elect Barack Obama seems to be stiffing them on Cabinet jobs and policy choices.

Obama has reversed pledges to immediately repeal tax cuts for the wealthy and take on Big Oil. He’s hedged his call for a quick drawdown in Iraq. And he’s stocking his White House with anything but stalwarts of the left.

Now some are shedding a reluctance to puncture the liberal euphoria at being rid of President George W. Bush to say, in effect, that the new boss looks like the old boss.

Don't you relish watching the left screwing the left?

It's dawning on the kool-aid drinkers that Obama is all about ...... well, Obama. Not them. Not his supporters. He'll be politically expedient and do what's good for him.

Ah, such fun to watch. Move on, Moveon.

George,

I don't know, Barack Hussein Obama political career has been one of a very left orientation. And we know his character associations regardless of what anyone says.

Tell me who you're with and I tell you who you are, period.

At this point I can only speculate that the "political powers that be" behind the scenes in this country "told" this President elect in no uncertain terms that he "would not be allowed" to implement an extreme left agenda on this nation.

Who knows what goes on behind political doors, time will only tell.

Anyway, we know from our previous experiences and our conservative anti-Communist values that a lefty like Obama is not the right person to be in charge of this great country's high office. I know in time we'll be vindicated in our views.

No much good can come for America at the long term by following leaders like Barack Hussein Obama.

Now we just need to watch and see how events are going to fold in the future.

Obama's a politician first (doing what he needs to do to get re-elected) and a messiah second.

He's doing a lot better than I would have believed possible. He's still of the left but considering how things looked a couple of months ago I can't complain. Got to give credit where credit is do. HRC sucks but was better than alternatives. Holder is an idiot and while I hope he wont last he's still better than Clinton's original selections. Finally his pick for USTR was awful - any Colombian that voted Democrat should be kicking themselves. They are never going to get a a meaningful FTA with this guy there.

Perhaps the real Obama shows a little of what he may be:
