China's Red Guard and the Cultural Revolution! And all the other variants of Leftist manufactured 'change'. Truly, truly frightening.

You know about three months ago, two whole floors in the building where I work were outfitted for what we thought would be more business offices.

Turns out, the two floors were for this organization. Kids like the ones in this video are coming to and from those two floors all day, and we've all wondered what its all about.

I'm going to make a point of asking them what they do all day, when I get back to work.

Funny to see the left using the images of Tiananmen Square for their ends... it's as though they have no idea of what change was being sought in 1989.

Marc, this isn't "left" or "right," it's a community service organization called City Year. Heaven knows kids these days could benefit from giving back to their community instead of playing video games all day. Get a grip folks; be happy, it's the new year!

Eddy,

Let me ask you a question. If you were trying to recruit young adults to a radical group how would you present it? I'm just saying.

Sure, the whole "change the world," "join our army," militaristic look is probably used for recruitment by radical groups as well. But it's not an exclusively communist marketing strategy-basically any group looking for young, idealistic people to make a long-term commitment to a project will probably use the same methods, not just radical communists or something. Any commercial to join the American military probably looks the same. For some reason young people like being part of a "movement"--this impulse can indeed be used for evil (communist revolution), but it can also be good (City Year).

Sorry dude, no "community organization" that looks like paramilitary Nazi brownshirts in red jackets is going to get my support and I'm going to be highly suspicious of them.

Red Jackets. Lock step military style movements. That anit no give back to your commuity psa. Thats the Communist Youth Brigade.
BTW, where was che? Guess his face up there would have made it too obvious. Even to ed, edd, and eddy.
