While Hamas rockets threaten an Israeli nuclear power plant, and the Russians continue to play political games with their neighbors, and the Democratic led congress tries to push through in one week a $1-trillion dollar stimulus package that no one has had a chance to read in its entirety yet, a familiar song begins to play in my head.
