"Quite simply, I'd never heard a word about such executions? (In Cuba.)"

Folks, that's a quote from a man who writes for a British magazine and fancies himself politically sophisticated. No con-job in modern history even approaches the one Castro pulled off with the help of his ( media, academia, publishing, filmaking) cronies--none comes even CLOSE. Sisyphus had a cakewalk compared to our task.

Story here.

I trust "Papa" Hemingway was properly entertained.

Plimpton didn't write about Che's daily summary executions because he knew it would cost him, especially in his line of work. The media establishment is only "tolerant" of those that toe the party line. "Heresy" and "apostasy" WILL be punished. Plimpton knew that perfectly well. They all know it, and act accordingly.
