Once in a while...

you come across a non-Cuban, non-Cuban American voice that gets it. There are not many of them, but at least we know they exist, and that the rest of the world is not living in the liberal vacuum where good is bad, and bad is good.

Tim Graham from NewsBusters takes on Time magazine and their fantastical portrayal of communist Cuba and its relationship with the US.

The fiftieth anniversary of Fidel Castro’s Iron Curtain around Cuba may suggest that in some dark corners of the world, Soviet-style communism still lives. But it also demonstrates that antique "peaceful coexistence" bias is as persistent as the Castro brothers. Time magazine is still demonstrating the tired tendency of moral equivalence, treating the free world and the miniaturized communist world as bickering kids who should hang up their boxing gloves.

It's a great editorial, and you can read it HERE.
