CBC Radio on Porno Para Ricardo

Over the weekend Gorki Aguila and his bandmates were arrested and then released by the regime. There's a good piece about the band which was produced by the CBC and aired yesterday.

The correspondent does an admirable job in portraying what the band goes through and the censorship they face. Of course the host has to mention Cuba's "health and education" systems as if that justifies all of the abuses of human rights and civil liberties.

Click here and listen to the Part 2 audio.

Come on, Henry! Who needs basic human rights when you have nominal healthcare and education?

Can't be. Must be gusano propaganda. Gorki and his band members arrested? Raul is a reformer. He's allowing Cubans to buy toasters, go to expensive stores [to look around] and to walk into the lobbies of $400 a night hotels like El Nacional that not even most Americans can afford!

that not even most Americans CAN'T [not can] afford!
