Cuban police invade embassy of Kuwait in Havana

Details are sketchy, but something has gone very wrong in Havana:

From Democtratic Spaces

A video published by Z8rty News and Cubanos por El Mundo shows police in Cuba breaking into a premise that is described in this video as Kuwait’s Embassy in Habana. A diplomat (Ahmed Ismail) asks police to stop and indicates this is “Kuwait’s Embassy” but police disregarded his request and forcibly entered the premises.

PNR police’s forcible entrance into Kuwait’s embassy constitute a clear violation of diplomatic immunity as per the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The same applies to breaking into the residences of diplomats. Specific information about the identity of the woman in the video or the date is unknown.

As per Article 22.3 of the “Vienna Convention of Diplomatic Relations (1961) “The premises of the mission, their furnishings and other property thereon and the means of transport of the mission shall be immune from search, requisition, attachment or execution.

The convention also states: Article 30.1

“The private residence of a diplomatic agent shall enjoy the same inviolability and protection as the premises of the mission.”

Shocking! Unfair! Canada shuts down travel to Cuba until April 30

Denied!

From our Bureau of Great Disappointments for White Supremacists

Canadian white supremacists will have to find some place other than Castrogonia for their dream holiday this winter.

Awww. Poor Canadians. How will they cope with this disappointment? Imagine being denied abundant sunshine and the thrill of feeling superior to dark-skinned savages who cater to your every whim and are incapable of enjoying the same rights and privileges as you because they are so obviously inferior.

Darn! This means that Canadian newspapers will also face a dearth of stories about ruined dream holidays in Castrogonia.

And Castro, Inc. will surely miss the cashflow generated by a million Canadian tourists.

Sad, sad day for Castro, Inc., apartheid tourism, white supremacy, and the exploitation of slave labor.

From Q Costa Rica

Starting February 1, Canada, which is Cuba’s largest tourist market, closed travel to the island nation through at least the end of April. The stiff action was taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Cuba itself announced Saturday a drastic cut in flights from numerous countries including the USA, Mexico, Spain and Panama.

Hungry for tourist dollars, Cuba’s state tourism industry was giving special preference to attract Canadians, which included a free PCR test upon arrival. Other visitors are required to pay for theirs. Last September, when Cuba reopened its airports, Canadian tourists were the first visitors allowed.

Now the hope to receive the snowbirds is shot for Cuba’s high tourist season. Easter vacation travel is also out.

Canada is not singling out Cuba, the cut in Canadian tourists is global, the country announcing last Friday the suspension of flights from Canada to Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. The move is to deter sunseekers from flying south and to slow the spread of more-transmissible variants of the coronavirus.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Friday that WestJet, Air Canada, Sunwing, and Air Transat all agreed to suspend flights to the popular winter getaways until April 30.

Fake Cuban president Díaz-Canel praises Cubans in U.S. who call for an end to so-called embargo

Castronoid “patriots” enjoying freedom of expression in U.S.

From our Bureau of Extremely Disturbing and Annoying Castronoids

Carlos Lazo, a Castrophile Cuban who lives in the U.S. leads an organization known as Puentes de Amor (Bridges of Love), which lobbies very aggressively on behalf of the Castro dictatorship. His latest stunt is a “caravan” of protests against the so-called embargo, which every Cuban knows is NOT a real embargo. Naturally, he’s been begging Jar-Jar Biden to reverse Trump’s sanctions immediately.

Back in Castrogonia, fake “president” Trucutú (“Banderita”) Díaz-Canel has praised Lazo’s minions as “Cuban patriots.”

Take a look at the Castronoid “patriots” and their sign in the photo above to fully understand the semantic horror of Castrospeak, generated by the Castronoid Ministry of Truth propaganda wizards. First notice the use of the term “bloqueo” which is pure Castrospeak. Next notice the smiling children. Then consider the printed messages. Yes, ending the “embargo” is all about love and friendship. Yes, everyone must learn to love and cherish the most brutal regime in the Western hemisphere.

Yes, as the Beatles put it: All you need is love…

Yes, Castro, Inc. is all about love, and it’s love for Cubans has been expressed in unique ways for the past 62 years.

Loosely translated from Diario de Cuba:

Miguel Díaz-Canel called this Sunday “Cuban patriots” those Cubans who demonstrated in the United States for the end of the embargo on the island. And several Cubans reminded the president of the internal blockade and that demonstrations are not allowed in Cuba.

“Cuban patriots, wherever they live, understand that the blockade is a crime against their people. Cuba thanks its emigrated children for the Puentes de Amor (Bridges of Love) caravan,” he said on Twitter.

A group of Cubans demonstrated in the cities of Seattle, New York, Los Angeles and even Miami, to ask the new US Administration to end the embargo, as well as the elimination of restrictions on sending remittances and travel to Cuba.

Eugenio Rolando Martínez (1923-2021), anti-Castro Cuban warrior, R.I.P.

Musculito

Eugenio Rolando Martinez acquired the nickname “Musculito” (Little Muscle) because in his youth, he was a dedicated weight-lifter. He spied on Castro, Inc. by carrying out over 300 clandestine trips to the island at the height of the Cold War. He fought against the Castro dynasty by joining Brigade 2506 and taking part in the Bay of Pigs invasion in April, 1961, as leader of the infiltration teams.

He was one of the infamous Watergate “plumbers” (one of “the Cubans”, as the news media called the burglary team, refusing to mention them by name). He was the plumber who left tape on a door lock, which was the item that caught a security guard’s attention, and led to their arrest.

And he spent several years in prison for this fumbled operation, which, as everyone knows, was conducted from the White House. This means that Musculito is one of the few Cuban exiles to have been directly and personally betrayed by TWO American presidents: Kennedy (at the Bay of Pigs) and Nixon (at the Watergate fiasco).

At the age of 98, he has passed on to the Next realm, like so many other exiles and heroes of his generation. Misere eum, Domine, Cubanus erat.

Cuba now requires all arriving visitors from abroad to quarantine at their own expense

Come on down, superior beings, we have lovely quarantine quarters for you !

From our Bureau of Socialist Hygiene and Social Justice with some assistance from our Twenty-First Century Apartheid Desk

Tourists and Cuban Yo-Yo’s who want to visit Castrogonia will now need to spend more money. Upon arrival they will be immediately shuttled to government-approved hotels where they will be quarantined for five days or longer, and will also be expected to pay for their accommodations.

As current plague crisis in Cuba continues to worsen the oligarchs who run the apartheid tourist industry find themselves forced to admit through their actions that it was very wrong for them to lure hordes of tourists back in November, by boasting to them that Castrogonia was “perfectly safe”.

And it seems that Castro, Inc. is taking a page out of the Canadian play book. Canada has just begun a quarantine program that is very, very similar.

Smokin’ hot, those Cuban ladies…. So, hurry, come on down, and check out our quarantine safe spaces !

From the Toronto Star

Cuban authorities said Saturday they will tighten measures against the spread of COVID-19, requiring tourists and others who visit the island to isolate at their own expense for several days until tests for the new coronavirus come out negative.

The announcement by Dr. Francisco Durán, Cuba’s director of epidemiology, came as the country announced 910 new infections of the new virus detected Friday, as well as three additional deaths.

Duran said that as of Feb. 6, arriving tourists and Cubans who live abroad will be sent to hotels at their own expense to wait for the results of a PCR test for the new coronavirus, which will be given on their fifth day in the country. A similar measure was imposed in the spring, and apparently helped stem the spread of the virus.

Cubans returning home from abroad will be housed in other centres at government expense to await test results.

Diplomats and some categories of foreign businesspeople will be allowed to isolate at home.

Cube has recorded 25,674 infections with the new coronavirus and 213 deaths since March.

Cuba had eased restrictions in November, opening airports to tourist and others, but the number of infections detected has risen sharply so far this month.

It’s official: Biden announces “review” of Cuba policy

From our Bureau of Totally Predictable Moves by U.S. Presidents Controlled by Radical Leftists

White House press sectetary Jen Psaki might as well have said that a return to Obama’s Cuba policy is guaranteed.

So all those dissidents who have been risking their lives lately might as well give up. The U.S. is about to support Castronoid repression once again.

Take a close look at that line in the official statement about Americans and Cuban Americans being the “best ambassadors for freedom.” And try to keep your head from exploding.

As reported by Granma Euro-L:ite (Reuters) via Newsmax

The Biden administration will review U.S. policy on Cuba, the White House said Thursday, after former President Donald Trump rolled back a historic Obama-era detente with Havana.

“Our Cuba policy is governed by two principles: First, support for democracy and human rights – that will be at the core of our efforts; second is Americans, especially Cuban Americans, are the best ambassadors for freedom in Cuba,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said at a news briefing. “So we’ll review the Trump administration policies.”

Harassed and imprisoned Cuban pastor and bicycle repairman has all of his tools stolen by government

Rev. Karel Parra Rosabal & family

From our Bureau of Exemplary Socialist Social Justice

An evangelical pastor who earns a living by repairing bicycles has had all of his tools stolen by Castro, Inc., simply because he had no receipts for them.

Did you know that in Castrogonia it is illegal to own any tools for which you have no receipt?

And the loss of $2,000 worth of tools now makes it impossible to work. Pastors of non-government approved churches can’t earn a living from their ministry and need a second job or profession to feed their families.

This harrassment is only the latest instance of government interference in his ministry. He had just been arrested and imprisoned for ten days on charges of “hoarding.”

Petition calls for removal of Cuban ministers and ‘president’ Diaz-Canel

From our Bureau of Gallant Quixotic Gestures

If you would like to feel like Don Quijote today, go to Change.org and sign the latest petition aimed at curbing the misbehavior of Castro, Inc.

The petition stands as much chance of achieving its goal as Don Quijote did when he charged the windmill, but it might make you feel somewhat empowered, at least while you’re doing it.

Read the petition and add your signature HERE

Loosely translated from Diario de Cuba

A petition on the Change.org platform is demanding the resignation of Cuban Minister of Culture Alpidio Alonso, as well as Vice Minister Fernando Rojas, brought together almost 1,000 rubrics at the end of this note just hours after the head of MINCULT and Vice Minister Fernando León Jacomino physically assaulted DIARIO DE CUBA journalist Mauricio Mendoza and two dozen activists from 27N were forcibly detained outside the headquarters of that Ministry.

The petition also demands the resignation of Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez “due to his inability to dialogue with the citizens who peacefully demand the end of police repression, corruption and abuse of power.”

“The aggression carried out today by officials of the Ministry of Culture against artists and intellectuals to whom they are owed is unacceptable in any circumstance or country. The Ministry of Culture has proven to be a more repressive body of the State, not an institution at the service of Culture and Cuban creators. Enough of lies and defamation! “, says the text.

“In a normal country, Mr. Alonso Grau should have resigned. The images of the minister physically attacking people who demonstrate peacefully in a public space, is one more example of the intolerance of the officials of the Cuban regime. This government that interrupts the internet service, to hide its outrages, is the same government that occupies a seat on the Human Rights Council, “recalled Alejandro González Raga, executive director of the Cuban Observatory of Human Rights.

Assembly of the Cuban Resistance issues statement condemning repression of Cuban students and artists

Received via email from ACR

STATEMENT OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE CUBAN RESISTANCE WITH REGARD TO THE REGIME REPRESSION AGAINST CUBAN ARTISTS AND STUDENTS ON JANUARY 27, 2021

The repression being carried out against young artists and intellectuals in Cuba over the past days should be a call for outrage and alarm among all civilized people.

Midnight raids and arrests of young artists and intellectuals should be completely unacceptable for the United States and the international community.

Paramilitary groups were bused in to confront the students.  Ministry of the Interior thugs herded the protesters into prisoner transport vehicles where they were further abused.

Even more repugnant, young female students were stripped, rough cavity searches performed on them and their genitalia fondled.

This dramatic increase in repression by the Communist Regime in Cuba must receive strong sanction, or as history shows, the violence will continue to increase and there will be fatalities.

We ask that sanctions be levied by the United States and the European Union at the Cuban Minister and Vice Minister of Culture, and against the specific second and third tier Ministry of the Interior personnel involved in the repressive campaign against the artists and students.

We ask that no sanctions be lifted on this tyranny until the root causes of the situation in Cuba: which is the absolute lack of rights and freedoms by the Cuban people, are addressed and resolved.

The Cuban people, as the shouts of the arrested students indicate, want and need freedom.

Cuban government seems to cave in to some of the demands made by striking coal workers

Cuban slave making “artisanal” charcoal

From our Bureau of Shocking, Depressing, and Confusing Neoslavery News

Shocking! Castro, Inc. actually made some concessions to end the coal worker’s strike in Last Tunas. This is unexpected and unprecedented. Castro, Inc. usuallly doubles down on repression when anyone steps out of line.

This is very weird. Why make concessions? It would be much easier for Castro, Inc. to jail all these men and replace them with more obedient and grateful slaves.

Depressing! Castro, Inc. has only agreed to a very minimal raise in the coal workers’ salary, which will still keep them on the brink of destitution, like nearly everyone else on the communist slave island plantation. At the current rate of exchange, a monthly salary of 2,100 pesos equals about 40 U.S. dollars.

Confusing! Castro, Inc. paid each worker 1,000 immediately in order to end the strike, but this pay was a LOAN they will have to repay on “easy” terms. This is very difficult to understand, any way one looks at it. Castrogonia is a lot like Bizarro World in old Superman comic books. Everything is the opposite of what one would expect on earth.

You go on strike. Your employer lends you some money you have to repay and promises to pay you minimum wage, and this is enough to make you end your strike.

But…. Ah! Let’s not forget the Ministry of Truth and its nearly infinite number of tricks….

As ever, socialist social justice is anything but real justice. Looking beneath the glossy veneer is always necessary. And a “concession” is not necessarily a concession, but a propaganda ploy that hides some kind of punishment below the surface.

Accept my loan, or else !

Trump’s second impeachment to be handled by Sen. Leahy, ardent supporter of communist Cuba

Best of friends

From our Bureau of Exemplary Impartiality with some assistance from our Theater of the Absurd Desk

It’s no secret that Senator Patrick Leahy is the best friend the murderous Castro dynasty has ever had in the U.S. senate.

His efforts to aid and reward Castro, Inc. are so numerous that they defy numbering.

So, perhaps it’s only fitting that he has been placed in charge of trying the worst enemy that Castro, Inc. has ever had in the White House.

France had its guillotines; the Senate has its own. And its beheading instrument is going to be in the hands of someone who loves tyrants with firing squads.

Guillotines ‘R Us

From The Hill:

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts will not preside over former President Trump’s Senate impeachment trial, which is scheduled to begin in earnest on Feb. 8.

Instead, Senate President Pro Tempore Patrick Leahy (Vt.), the most senior member of the Senate Democratic Conference, will preside over the trial.

Leahy on Monday confirmed he would wield the gavel and promised to administer “impartial justice.”

“The president pro tempore has historically presided over Senate impeachment trials of non-presidents. When presiding over an impeachment trial, the president pro tempore takes an additional special oath to do impartial justice according to the Constitution and its laws. It is an oath that I take extraordinarily seriously,” he said in a statement.

Leahy vowed he would “not waver from my constitutional and sworn obligations to administer the trial with fairness, in accordance with the Constitution and the laws.”
